Therapy for Pregnancy and MOtherhood
*Please note: I offer virtual sessions only.
Motherhood is one of life’s most profound transitions. It can bring joy, but it can also bring deep challenges—especially during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Many women find themselves struggling with complicated pregnancies, difficult deliveries, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, or the overwhelming emotional and physical demands of new motherhood. In these moments, it’s easy to feel isolated, unsure of yourself, or disconnected from the person you once were. My role is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you don’t have to navigate these struggles alone.
I specialize in working with expectant mothers, women facing complicated or high-risk pregnancies, new moms adjusting to the realities of motherhood, and those experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety. Together, we explore the unique challenges of this life stage with care, curiosity, and compassion. My approach integrates attachment-based therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychoeducation on the nervous system and biology of trauma. These methods help clients understand the deep connection between body, trauma, and emotional health, and provide practical tools for creating real, sustainable change.
In our work, we focus on creating safety, understanding, and support while helping you develop strategies to manage symptoms and cope with challenges. Whether it’s learning how to regulate your nervous system, healing from birth trauma, or finding steadiness amid postpartum overwhelm, therapy offers a path toward resilience and greater confidence in yourself as a mother and as a person.
My goal is to help you move from a place of survival into one of calm, clarity, and connection. I genuinely care for the women I work with and offer not only professional expertise but also a grounded, supportive presence. Healing is not about doing it all perfectly—it’s about finding safety in your own body, strength in your story, and confidence in your ability to navigate motherhood.
If you’re seeking support during this important season of life, I encourage you to reach out. You don’t have to face this transition alone.
